Simulated Schoolmaster
Improve your riding performance with private personalized training sessions guided by classical biomechanics-focused coaching.

From beginners to advanced riders of any discipline, simulator work is the missing link in your riding program. Private lessons on our horseback riding simulator, "Pilot", are tailored to focus on your riding challenges so you can unlock your riding goals.

Benefits of Simulator Work
How often is your riding focused on you and not your horse?
About our Coaching
Harmony
"A good rider can hear his horse speak to him. A great rider can hear his horse whisper."
~Unknown
We believe feel can be taught. Grounded in classical biomechanics, our coaching helps you target and improve your balance, proprioception, timing, and fitness so your riding allows the horse to move correctly and freely.
Humor
"There are only two emotions that belong in the saddle: one is a sense of humor and the other is patience."
~John Lyons
Developing or breaking riding habits can be tough. If you can't feel it, you can't fix it, so we may have you do some seemingly silly stuff to help you recognize and re-pattern your muscle memory (having Pilot opens up a whole world of training techniques that aren't possible on a real horse). We find that using this rider-centric approach to coaching results in faster and longer-lasting riding improvements.
Humility
"We have almost forgotten how strange a thing it is that so huge and powerful and intelligent an animal as a horse should allow another, and far more feeble animal, to ride upon its back."
~Peter Gray
Coaching you is our privilege. We will never be as good of an instructor as the horse. But, since Google translate doesn't have Horse-to-English yet, we're here to offer what we've learned throughout our lifelong horse obsession to help you improve your riding. We believe learning is endless, so we love collaborating with trainers across all disciplines, discussing classical principles, and developing new training approaches. We are honored to contribute to your riding journey and look forward to seeing what we will uncover together.
